Us
Welcome to the LGBTQ
Resource Center, the first such Center
of its kind
at a Catholic/Jesuit institution in the
country. A long process of discernment,
dialogue, and reflection from students,
faculty, staff, and Ministry went into
creating and establishing this Center,
and we look forward to creating spaces
for conversations around the
intersections of LGBTQ and faith. We are
very honored and very
mindful of the responsibility and
privilege that comes in its wake. We
started in August 2008, and we have
sought to build on the rich interfaith
and intellectual engagements of
Georgetown to create a Center that will
speak to all of us in all of our rich
diversity. We welcome all members of the
Hilltop and elsewhere to get in touch
with us.
