We rely on your generous contributions
to enhance our Center programs and
services. We welcome your contribution
in the form of time, energy, gifts in
kind and financial support.
Your contributions will directly benefit
a historic moment: this is the first and
so far the only LGBTQ Center in a
Catholic/Jesuit university in the
country. This places us in a special
place of both privilege and
responsibility, and we look to your
thoughtful support to help us become a
national model on how to do this work
with discernment and respect to our
deepest held values and beliefs.

Goals for
the Center’s expansion and growth
include:
1.
Mentoring program to connect current
students with Alumni in their field of
study
2.
Scholarships for students based on need
and academic achievement
3.
Speaker
Series to bring our distinguished alums
to campus, as well as scholars,
activists, and community organizers who
affirm and celebrate our communities.
4.
Resource Library in the Center to
include books, films and other relevant
publications
5.
Travel
support for student leaders to attend
national LGBTQ conferences.
6.
Speaker’s Bureau class that will train
our LGBTQ students and allied members to
be effective leaders and advocates.
For
students your generosity will mean:
1.
Continued support and expansion of the
excellent programs being currently
offered.
2.
Holistic growth of LGBTQ students on
campus as vibrant and affirming members
of the Hilltop community.
3.
Students encountering less hostility and
bias and being equipped to better
respond should they occur.
For
Georgetown your generosity will mean:
1.
The
University is primed to be a national
model in doing LGBTQ work in a faith
context, drawing on its decades of
understanding, commitment, and expertise
on interfaith work.
2.
Celebrate and integrate our LGBTQ alums
and their work as part of our community
in diversity here on the Hilltop.
3.
Collaboration of the Center with other
departments and units across campus will
increase inclusivity and acceptance for
all members.
