Alumni Events

It’s been so long since last we met.

Each year the Center hosts LGBTQ Alumni events during Homecoming, John Carroll Weekend, and Reunion Weekend.  Past attendees have included administrators such as the University President, Provost, Vice Presidents, and Members of the Boards of Directors and Governors.

We also love to see alumni attend our campus events throughout the year!

The Center’s work continues to grow and develop year to year, and we are exicited about the exciting happenings on campus. All alumni are welcome to attend Lavender Graduation and other events we host throughout the year!

We look forward to your involvement and welcome your time and energy.  Hoya Saxa!

HOMECOMING LGBTQ RECEPTION

For over 100 years Alumni have gathered to celebrate their home at Georgetown University.  We invite you to return to campus and take part in the celebration of Homecoming Weekend!  Join the LGBTQ Resource Center for our annual Open House and meet our staff, current students, and reconnect with old friends.

You can find more information on Homecoming and the necessary registration forms here (new window).

JOHN CARROLL WEEKEND

Since 1952 John Carroll Weekend has traveled to a different city each year, gathering the local Georgetown community and alumni, students, faculty, parents, family members and friends from around the globe to celebrate the best of Georgetown.  The weekend of educational, social, and cultural events offers participants the chance to engage with one another and with Georgetown’s outstanding faculty and university leaders, and to learn more about the host city.

You can find more information on John Carroll Weekend here (new window).

REUNION WEEKEND

Reunion Weekend is an opportunity to reconnect with friends and classmates, rediscover what Georgetown means to us, and learn about the many ways Georgetown has an impact on the world.
